Wow oh wow, this summer has gone by fast and I am behind on blogging. I have been having so much fun with my kids, but I have to say, I’m looking forward to school starting next week. My task list is getting longer and longer. Blogging being a major item on that list. A couple months ago I had the pleasure of photographing two week old danbury newborn, Sloane. She was exactly 14 days and as cute as can be.

These are some of my favorite newborn and parent images to date. There is something so precious about those early images of parents holding their new little one.
Pink, Purple, and Ivory
Sloane’s parents chose pink, purple, and ivory for her session colors. I always have parents fill out a questionnaire a few days before the session. This gives me an idea of the colors of baby’s nursery and what colors the parents would like in the session. I love to mix and match and have the session coordinate.
Baby Smiles
I love it when I get to capture some newborn smiles. I don’t care what anyone says, while it might not be a “social smile” it must mean they were happy and content. And it sure looks cute too!
It is the cutest thing in the world when babies sleep with their hands above their heads. Sloane must have really liked me. She gave me plenty of smiles AND slept like this.
