Miss Edith was a 13 day old Danbury CT newborn girl when she came to the studio for her newborn photography session. She surprised her parents big time by coming 3 1/2 weeks early! I always make sure I have room in my schedule before and after due dates, so it was no trouble fitting her in. Even though she was early, Edith was a great size. 6 lbs 5 oz at birth! Of course she was even bigger when I got to meet her just shy of 2 weeks.

The recommended time to book your newborn session is during your pregnancy. I take a limited number of sessions a month so pre-booking will guarantee availability. Now booking spring & summer 2019 due dates! Sessions take place 6 – 16 days after birth so it is best to book early and get penciled in. The actual date of the session will be scheduled once your little one arrives.
