We did a couple different set ups. We first just did a plain background, then a chevron background, and lastly the cake smash backdrop.
Aveer was full of expressions and just had a great time! I had a great time as well!
1st birthday Cake Smash
First birthdays are a wonderful milestone to celebrate. There is nothing better than giving a first birthday child a cake of their very own to smash. Honestly, there’s typically not a lot of smashing that goes on during a cake smash session. Some are confused. Some cry. Some smash. Either way, it’s a memorable experience! I just adore being able to celebrate your child’s first birthday with you. I would love to set up a custom cake smash session for your and your little one.

Sessions take place at my residential studio in Newtown, CT. Everything is set up prior to your arrival and the mess stays with me! Cake smash sessions are custom designed based on your colors and theme. There are two different session types to choose from. One is just a simple cake smash, and the other is more elaborate and also has two different backdrops.
It is best to book your session at least 4 weeks in advance for planning purposes. However, if it’s less time than that, don’t worry, reach out and we’ll see what we can do. I am often able to squeeze in extra sessions.
