Sweet Gavin. Here he is, a 10 day old Brookfield newborn boy. He came to my Newtown CT newborn studio with his big brother Carter and of course his parents.

I know I probably shouldn’t say this, but I am on a STREAK with amazing older siblings. I hope it continues because I just love moments like this. It doesn’t always come easily so I am forever grateful when I get a cooperative big brother. Thank you Carter!
Colors: Navy, Light Green, and Cream
Gavin’s mama picked Navy, light green, and cream for the colors of his session. A few days before a newborn session, I send out prep information and a questionnaire. The questionnaire goes over colors they would like used for the session (I have just about every color imaginable!) and types of images they like and/or dislike. I have a workflow that I go through at all my sessions. However, if there is a must have (or must don’t), I make sure to make note of it. Although I should add a disclaimer. If you would pictures of your newborn with their eyes open, DO NOT TELL ME. Your baby will know and keep their eyes closed the entire session ;).

Newborn Photography
It is recommended to book your newborn session during your pregnancy to guarantee availability. Now booking 2018 due dates! Sessions take place 6 – 16 days after birth so it is best to book early and get penciled in. The actual date of the session will be scheduled once your little one arrives.
