Newborn sessions take place during the first few weeks of life. This is so we can capture the sleepy curled up poses that you see in my portfolio.
Year of the Rabbit
Since it’s the year of the rabbit, Jake’s parents wanted to incorporate that into their session. They brought a rabbit lovey with them that we used in a few of the photos.

I love so much about Jake’s newborn session. I always adore getting to use colors like burnt orange which aren’t used as much. It paired so well with using baby blue as well as white. Jake was such a sleepy boy and did so well in the relaxing studio environment.

The recommended time to book your newborn photo session is during your pregnancy. I take a limited number of sessions a month so pre-booking will guarantee availability. Now booking 2024 due dates! Sessions take place 6 – 16 days after birth so it is best to book early and get penciled in. The actual date of the session will be scheduled once your little one arrives.
While the studio is all set up, you can relax while your precious baby is taken care of. I will change diapers, soothe your baby to sleep while I gently pose them.
