Akilah and Zakariya are the most adorable newborn twins from East Hartford, CT! They were 16 days new when they came to my studio for their portraits. Zakariya would frown and wrinkle his nose when his sister would cry. They loved to be close to each other, although I’m sure there were times Akilah was thinking, get off of me brother!

They were born 38 weeks which is full term for twins! Akilah weighed 4 lbs 11 oz and Zakariya 4 lbs 14 oz at birth.
Mom had wanted a photo of the babies wearing their hats from the hospital. I love how it turned out!
Friends forever
These cuties did such an amazing job posing together. I was amazed at all the different sets I was able to do with them together. Twins are not easy! These guys made my job a breeze though. There are never too many babies to hold!

I seriously can not get enough of these babies!! The cuteness is just too much for me. First of all, there is 2 of them. Second, they love to cuddle. And did I mention there are two of them? I love going through all their images again.

For the newborn session, she chose orange, yellow, beige, and white. She told me that orange is her color. I agree! It looks great on her.

We are now booking September – February 2017 due dates! Do you see that? 2017! Our studio is located in Newtown CT, but newborn travel from much of the state and NY as well. It is recommended to book during your pregnancy to guarantee availability. Newborns are typically photographed between 6 – 16 days which is why early booking is recommended.
