Home is Where the Heart is | Newtown CT Photography

Sarah contacted me looking for a family photography session at their home in Newtown, CT. Sarah is going to be studying abroad for several months. Their dog Rosie is now 12 years old! Sarah wanted some great images of her family with their dog at their property. They are going to be moving soon so this was very special to her. This is the house that Sarah grew up in. I just love the way these images came out. They will look great in an album in their new home! Home is where the heart is definitely rings true.

We lucked out with some gorgeous light. I just love evening family sessions like this. The sun was setting behind the house providing us with beautiful light.

Sarah has just left to study abroad in Paris until December. I am super jealous! I hope she has a fantastic time.

Thank you so much to the Potter family for letting me capture these moments for you. I have known this family for nearly 10 years now. It’s amazing seeing Sarah grow from a little girl, to a beautiful woman.
