It was such a joy to meet this Monroe newborn girl. She was 7 days new and came with her big sister, Alana, who I also photographed as a newborn! Alana has grown so much and adores her new baby sister. Clients coming back makes this job so rewarding. I love watching their families grow and be able to create beautiful portraits for them.
Monroe Newborn Girl: Emily 7 days
Look at those eyes! Can I tell you that I just fell in love with miss Emily. Mostly because of those eyes. I am a sucker for amazing newborn eye contact. And Emily did not disappoint!
Shades of Purple
Mom had decided on doing shades of purple and some white for Emily’s portraits. I love love the mix of lavender and medium purple.
Family <3
Miss Alana did such a great job posing with her little sister. Sibling photos are usually a challenge, however Alana did amazing. What a great big sister!
Wrapped Poses
Mom mentioned that she likes wrapped poses. So I had a lot of fun wrapping Miss. Emily up in different ways. Babies are so snug and secure when they are wrapped up. I also find wraps so beautiful on little girls. There are so many different ways to use a wrap and I love coming up with new wrapping styles.
The Deluxe Album
I just happened to receive Emily’s album right before posting this blog post. You can see The Deluxe Album blog post here which showcases some of Emily’s album. My favorite part of this album is when you open the box. One of the images is showcased on the inside panel.
