Sweet Josephine was a dream for her newborn photography Newtown session. Her mom contacted me after she was already born which was not a problem. I always try to fit in newborns if possible. It was so great to meet Josephine and her parents. Josephine was 15 days new when she came into my residential Newtown CT newborn studio. It was just before Christmas and I love that we were able to incorporate a little bit of a holiday theme.

Evergreen, Dusty Rose, and Purple
Mom had mentioned the color evergreen in her questionnaire, but wasn’t too particular about the other colors. While looking through my colors, I decided that dusty rose and purple would pair perfectly with the green. It was so much fun using green with a newborn girl. I added headbands and a touch of purple to make it feminine.
^ When designing Josephine’s newborn session, I just knew this bucket was going to be perfect with the colors. I love it so much!

The recommended time to book your newborn photo session is during your pregnancy. I take a limited number of sessions a month so pre-booking will guarantee availability. Now booking 2024 due dates! Sessions take place 6 – 16 days after birth so it is best to book early and get penciled in. The actual date of the session will be scheduled once your little one arrives.
While the studio is all set up, you can relax while your precious baby is taken care of. I will change diapers, soothe your baby to sleep while I gently pose them.
