Rex is just the cutest Newtown baby boy! We had a little impromptu milestone session. I was actually babysitting him for a little bit to help out his mom (and in turn she helped me get ready for my sister’s bridal shower which I desperately needed). He was just so adorable and at one of my favorite ages. What was I to do? I just HAD to bring him down to the studio for a couple images. Sometimes I just can’t help myself. So Rex was one day from being 7 months if I remember correctly. He had just started sitting, but only for a little bit at a time. I was lucky enough to capture him sitting. He is such a happy boy and oh so cute!

Baby sessions are so much fun. As much as I love my newborn sessions (I seriously LOVE them), I enjoy seeing the little ones when they come back and have so much personality. I love the different expressions, smiles, and eye contact. Milestone sessions can be for babies 3 months – 11 months. Milestone sessions are the perfect length of time for a baby. Enough for them to warm up, but short enough you won’t have to worry about their next nap or bottle.
For little ones that are a year, cake smash sessions are a great choice! Complete with a custom cake and a backdrop designed to match your theme. These are such fun sessions and what’s more fun than watching a baby dive into a cake?
