I know, not my typical genre, but my sister-in-law had asked me to take a couple quick photos of her and her husband for their anniversary. We went to the same location they had their wedding photos done for their Newtown couples photography session. I was looking over sessions that I hadn’t blogged yet, and fell in love with these two images, so I decided they deserved a post.

When people ask me if I do weddings, my reply is always, “No, I stay away from brides.” That usually gets a laugh. Well I’ll let you in on a little secret. I helped photograph my sister-in-laws wedding along with my friend Elizabeth Frederick Photography who took the lead. I second shot with her and did all the editing. I know her website shows all babies like mine does, but she does do small weddings as well.

Since I mentioned I did photograph their wedding, I’ll share with you a few photos from that. OK, it ended up being more than a few. This does not mean that that I’ve changed my “stay away from brides” stance lol. Please bring me all the babies!
So we’re calling this, “That one time I shot a wedding.” Of course there a million more photos, but just sharing a few as I don’t photograph weddings, but still wanted to share.
I do get that the photos are out of order. I don’t really have a say when I put them in a gallery like this. Let’s not even talk about how this was from several years ago and I had to find that catalog they were even in.
