I had the cutest Newtown CT twins to the studio for their Disney inspired newborn session. Aurora & Zelda are just so adorable and have amazing parents. I have known their dad for many years and he was always scared to hold my babies. Well, let me tell you. He is a PRO now! He came in carrying the two infant car seats on his own and easily took one baby out. I was impressed! I have to admit, I was really worried about not being able to tell them apart before the session. The majority of newborn twins I have photographed have been boy/girl twins. I love that they each have their own look and personality already. It also made my fears of not being able to tell the girls apart disappear!

Disney Inspired Newborn Photography
I was so excited when mom filled out the questionnaire about colors and images she would like. Mom wanted primary colors to go with the twins’ Disney themed nursery. So much fun! I had mom send me a picture of their Disney nursery that I used as inspiration in the color. I just loved the blue walls, the Disney stuffed animals and pops of color. The main colors for these Newtown CT twins newborn photography session were blue (both light and dark), yellow, and red. Disney colors :). I made the tie backs myself to coordinate with the colors of the session.
Sisterly love
I just love the bond these sisters have. They loved being cuddled next to each other. They also loved to fight. At one point during a diaper change, Aurora started kicking Zelda in the face! I was told she does that often! p.s. Mom also made this blanket in the first image below!
