A new Newtown newborn! Adorable Teagan lives right down the street from me. She had a very short drive to my studio and I’m sure in a few years I’ll be seeing her ride her bike past my house. Teagan was 9 days new and had the most fantastic hair. She also loved to smile! Those are two of my favorite features of newborns – lots of hair and smiles! I hit the jackpot with Teagan as she had both. I was so excited to get to photograph her.

I don’t care if it’s gas, or something else. A smiling newborn is still SO SO adorable, no matter the reason. I like to believe it’s because they are happy. Teagan must be a very happy girl because she just LOVED to smile for me.

For Teagan’s Petite newborn session, we used gray and lavender. I absolutely love the way the purple looks with her fabulous hair. Her petite session yielded more photos than normal. She was such a good sleeper!
