Hello Bright Eyes
One of many questions I get is, “Oh, you want the baby to sleep?” Yes, sleepy babies are great. The reason is that it is a very difficult task to get newborn to make eye contact with the camera. Many times they have one eye opened, one eye closed, are cross eyed, or just looking everywhere EXCEPT the camera. Another reason is that let’s face it, if a newborn is awake, most likely he or she needs something; food, a diaper change, comfort, tummy troubles, etc.
However, Miss Esther decided that she was not like all other babies. She wanted to see everything that was going on and gave me amazing eye contact!

The recommended time to book your newborn photo session is during your pregnancy. I take a limited number of sessions a month so pre-booking will guarantee availability. Now booking 2024 due dates! Sessions take place 6 – 16 days after birth so it is best to book early and get penciled in. The actual date of the session will be scheduled once your little one arrives.
While the studio is all set up, you can relax while your precious baby is taken care of. I will change diapers, soothe your baby to sleep while I gently pose them.
