I am in LOVE with baby Camila, and I think you will be too. She traveled to my studio from Plainville CT which is about an hour away. It is a huge honor when a client chooses to drive that distance for you to photograph their newborn. Camila was 10 days new when I photographed her newborn session. This is going to be a HUGE overshare. I’m having a hard time choosing images.

Camila was such a love during her newborn session. She had her eyes open in the very beginning of the session. Then she went off to dreamland and was amazing to photograph.
My favorite colors
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it every time my chooses blue for a baby girl. In LOVE with blue and baby girls. Did you know that originally blue was a “girl” color and pink was a “boy” color. I really think we need to switch back to that. So, not only was Camila was a dream to photograph, I got to use blue on her! The colors mom chose were light blue, light purple, and light yellow. The combination of these colors are to die for. Camila looked amazing with every color as well. I specifically love the purple and blue combo on her.
Parents & Newborn
Can you believe that they weren’t planning on having parent & baby images taken? I am so glad they changed their mind. Seriously, look how gorgeous!
I’ve been doing this pose with the majority of dad’s lately. Something about their hands holding their tiny baby that just makes me swoon. Nothing more sweeter.
