My second Maxwell of the week! I am so lucky to have all these adorable newborn boys to photograph. Maxwell must be a popular name as a few days prior I photographed another baby Maxwell. Maxwell traveled to my studio from his home in Shelton for his newborn portraits. I always think how lucky I am to have new parents trusting me with their most precious gift. I love everything about newborns and just love that I’m able to call this my job.

Colors for his newborn photography
I love color and have so many colors for parents to choose from. Maxwell’s parents went with blues, gray, and white. The nursery is nautical themed and they were looking for a beachy feel to go with it. I love the mixing of the blues with gray and white.
Hello Baby
There is something about awake newborn images that I just love. Maybe it’s because it can be rare to get eye contact from a newborn and a bit of a challenge. Have you ever tried to take a picture of a newborn that’s awake? Not always easy! They are always a parent favorite too!
The love of mom & dad
It is so great when mom and dad opt for a couple pictures with their new baby. These are images that are going to last a lifetime and beyond. Images that will be passed down from generation to generation. You can just feel the love in these.
