Mama approached me last year about wanting to do a mama and me photo session with her boys at the beach. We decided on Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, CT. She was originally thinking the winter, but we discussed it and decided to wait until spring. I’m so glad we did because we had a perfect day!

Sherwood Island State Park | Westport CT
For this mama and me beach session we decided on Sherwood Island State Park in Westport CT. I had never been before (actually I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a CT beach before! shhhhhh) but it was recommended to me by some other photographers. It was such the perfect location for our session!
So much fun!
These boys are full of energy and at such fun ages. This session was about capturing all that energetic energy and capturing life as it is right now. Lots of running, smiles, and laughter.
Brotherly Love
I was sitting back and just photographing moments as it happened. I was dying of laughter when big brother started sticking rocks down little brothers shirt. It is something my boys would have been doing when they were younger.
