I was so excited to see Gabriella again for her Southbury Cake Smash session. Take a look at her when I photographed her as an itty bitty newborn. I always love when I get to see “my” newborns again.

A shout out to Who Wants Cake in Brookfield, CT. She makes all my cakes for my sessions and does an amazing job!
Parents fill out a questionnaire with information on colors or theme. I work on what the background is going to be and send all the information over. Cheryl then works on designing the perfect cake to match everything.
Yellow, Teal, Pink
Mom had picked the colors of yellow, teal, and pink for Gabriella’s session. Her birthday party theme is “You are My Sunshine” with those colors. I had the perfect backdrop to match everything. I love the way it all came together!
Big Sister
Big sister wanted to join in the fun so she popped in for a couple shots while Gabriella was getting changed.
It’s my Party…
and I’ll cry if I want to. I have to say, cake smash sessions often have a photo like this included. And I LOVE them.
